FAQs
WSQ Courses
If you are a Singaporean or a Permanent Resident (PR), you will be eligible for SkillsFuture Funding Grants. For Singapore citizens, your age will determine the funding tier you are eligible for. Visit our funding page to understand more.
If you are a foreigner, dependent pass holder or work permit holder, full course fee is payable due to non-eligibility for funding.
As the funded courses are structured to be completed within the required course duration (i.e. 3 days or 2 days), we strongly recommend learners to be present on all stipulated days, completing at least 75% attendance and assessment successfully for grants to be processed.
In event of medical issues (or other accepted reasons), learners who miss any classes are required to fulfil all make-up lessons and assessments within 60 calendar days from the initial course run end date which the learner was enrolled in.
Learner can join the next available class if the dates are within 60 calendar days of their registered course run's end date. Otherwise, a one-to-one make up session will be required.
For one-to-one make up lessons (payable at $30/hour), durations of make-up classes will be assessed based on remaining outstanding curriculum and determined at the discretion of the school.
The class size is a maximum of 12 learners and a minimum of 6 learners.
The suggested entry requirements by SSG are a minimum of ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 3. Course books provided will be in English. Our bilingual trainers are able to assist for queries that require further elaboration.
