A rich floristry trade experience together with a passion to impart adequate floral design skill standard to others drove Principal June Lee to setup June Floral Art School in 1985. It has since trained over 2000 flower arrangers and designers all over Asia.
 

Principal June Lee started operating June Florist in 1982 setting her career path in Singapore floristry industry.  Her notable achievements and experience over 15 years include wedding decorations, decoration for conferences and exhibitions; and was also involved in floral works for WTO and 1987 Miss Universe Pageants.   However, in 1997, she gave up her active role in June Florist to pursue after her passion wholeheartedly to impart floral design skills bringing floral design standards to a higher level. Though equipped with rich floral design skills, Principal June Lee always keeps herself updated and in touch with up-to-date floral designs through overseas trips meeting up with world renounce artists.

新加坡六月花艺学院由李爱兰院长创立於1985年，至今已培训2000余位花卉从业员，学员遍布新加坡、马来西亚、印尼、东马、香港等地。

李爱兰院长於1982年创立六月花店并管理长达15年，有鉴於达到统一新加坡花艺的理想，院长毅然於1997年放下六月花店的管理棒子，专心研讨新加坡花艺，以期采用最简练与系统式的花艺教学法，来培训学员成为优秀、有创意的花艺专业人才。

由於营运六月花店15年，对一般花艺制作乃至宴会、研讨会、展览会、国际选美会、国际会议 ( WTO ) 等等花卉布置，留下了宝贵的工作经验，并和国际共用的花语与规则合而为一，编写六个不同等级的课程，肯定了新加坡花艺的学习模式。

2001年，学院非常荣幸的受委与新加坡创新局的花艺咨询委员会顾问一起编写“全国花艺技能鉴定”( NATIONAL SKILLS RECOGNITION SYSTEM  ) 课程，为新加坡花艺从业员提供培训和技能鉴定，使本国花艺学习课程多一页崭新的系统。

2002年, 学院获颁全新第一间受政府承认的花艺学院 ( APPROVED TRAINING CENTRE ) 证书,也是第一间受政府认可的拥有100%合格花艺指导老师的学院 ( CERTIFIED WORKFORCE ).

2003年, 学院获颁为全新第一间花艺考试中心 (APPROVED ASSESSMENT CENTRE ),可为本校学生进行“全国花艺技能鉴定”考试，合格后由新加坡人力局颁发证书。
