Do I have to start off with basic course
before pursuing others?
Yes if you do not have prior knowledge.
If you have already basic knowledge and
wished to pursue our advance courses,
you will have to undertake a basic
assessment. |

Any instructional manuals provided for
the courses conducted?
Students will be given the relevant
instructional manuals according to the
course selected. |

Do I have to pay for additional material
cost after paying the course fees?
No if you selected the course that
includes materials fee. However, if you
wish to purchase any floral materials
for your personal keepsake, you may do
so. |

|
|
Is there a time frame to complete each
course?
All our course must be completed within
1 year period unless stipulated. For
group coaching, a schedule will be given
to all students upon commencement of
course. Should you have to miss any of
the classes due to personal reasons,
advance notice must be given. There
will be no make up classes. |

|
Are there any examination upon
completion of each course?
Yes, there will be a practical
examination and students are assessed on
their creativity and skill standards. |
|

What is
the class limit?
We have 9 qualified instructor for
individual coaching. For group coaching,
our class size is limited to 6 trainees.
Should there be more than 6 trainees, we
will have 2 instructors assigned. |

|
Any group
discount available?
If you are able to gather a group of 5
trainees and able to attend course
together in fix timing, 5% off from the
course fee (materials inclusive) will be
extended. No replacement class should
anyone of the group missed any of the
teaching session. Attendance per course
must exceed 75% to qualify for
certification. |
|
|
|
Any
timeframe given to each course taken?
Yes. Should any trainee due to special
reasons, unable to complete the course
within the scheduled timeframe, we will
extend a concession of up to one year.
However, approval must be sought. |
|

What kinds of certificates are
awarded after we complete the
examination?
Depending on the course
selected. Our certificates

What
should I do if I misplaced my
certificate?
Our school will not issue replacement
certificate, but we will issue a letter
of certification to certify your
qualification. |

Am I eligible for SDF grant?
SDF or
Skill Development Fund is extended to
company within floral industry. To

How do I keep myself abreast with the
current trend after completion of the
courses?
We have annual overseas upgrading
program open to all our students. You
will get to attend courses conducted by
world-renowned artists and also visits
to floral gardens as part of the
education program. |
|
|
Can I take refresher course after
graduation?
Yes. As our student, you only need to
pay for the cost of materials used. Our
Folk Art refresher course is charged at
S$25 per session (4 hours). |

Does the school provide any job
placement service?
We will open up to our students should
we have any job offers from florists or
other organizations. |

我必需从初级花艺课程开始学习吗？
您若没修过花艺，是必需从初级花艺课程开始，倘若您修过花艺，又能通过学院的初级花艺考试，便可直接修读中、高级或商业花艺课程。
课程都有讲义吗？
每科科目都有各科的讲义。
学费是否包括材料费？
若您选择包括材料费的学费，便无需再付材料费，但上课所用的花材不可带回。
若您选择不包括材料费的学费，则每堂课后需付所用的材料并可带回家。
我们建议您选修相对便宜的包括材料费的学费的课程。
除了学费外，我还要付其他费用吗？
您需付一次过的20元报名费、60元的工具费、及相关科目的考试费。
我必需考试吗？
修完各科课程后，都必需通过考试方可获颁结业证书。
每科班级共有多少学生？
学院共有9位老师，指导学生单独上课，或小班上课，每班不超过6位学生。
若一班超过6位学生，将由2位老师指导。
如果我们有多位同学一起上课，学费是否有优待？
学费(包含材料)优待5%予2位至5位同学同时上课，优待10%予6位以上同学同时上课，必需根据学院时间上课，没有补课，缺课同学必需修完至少75%
课程并通过考试方可获颁证书。
课程上到半途而无法继续，怎么办？
学院可保留您的学额自入学算起一年，在一年内完成课程。
结业后，我将获颁何种证书？
证书视您选修的课程而颁发，学院证书共有： |
证书若遗失，可以补发吗？
本院不补发遗失或损坏的证书，但可以发证明信以证明您修读的课程，行政费为新币5元。
我能申请技能发展基金以资助学费吗？
技能发展基金是资助在职花艺从业员，您若想知道是否能被批准，请上网查询。

结业后，我能回学院复习吗？
您可回学院复习所上过的花艺课程，只需付材料费，无需付学费。请与您的花艺老师约定复习时间。
彩绘课程则需付
$25 一堂课（4个小时），材料另计，也请与您的彩绘老师约定复习时间。
我将如何保持我的花艺水准，以及接收新的花艺资讯？学院有定期花艺研讨会、花艺比赛、出国观摩花艺等活动，您可多参与并和同学 们互相切磋，必可与时并进，再创高峰。
学院能帮我们寻找工作吗？
倘若有机构或花店问学院寻找花艺工作员，本院将通知所有学员。 |
